Northbrook is run by a family and they keep it clean. Sometimes when you walk into a nursing home, there is a unpleasent odor, there isn't one here. They keep it clean and make sure everything is in order. The employees are not the most friendly, but there are some who will talk with you. They are very business professional and don't take any risks when it comes to your elders health or safety. If your mom or dad lives there, I'm sure they will tell you they enjoy it. They regularly go to Wal-Mart and other shopping stores. They have garage sales and visitors. They are not a top notch nursing home, but they do care and make sure you are comfortable.
