I never thought I would write a review about a title company, but my experience with customer service at this branch was pretty bad. Our escrow agent was very patronizing and, at times, she was rude.
When I asked what day I should wire the money for the down payment, I didn't get an answer, I got a 5 minute lecture.
When I asked her to let us know when our loan funded escrow, she acted like this was unreasonable, and I then got a lecture about the stock market. So, I had to ask her again, and she finally agreed. When we bought our first house, the title company (a different one) told us when our loan funded, so it isn't out of the ordinary. Plus, considering the turmoil in the financial markets, so my concern is warranted.
She was even judgemental about my son's minor skin irritation, which she said looked like a "serious rash".
All in all, not a pleasant experience. I left the office upset, which you wouldn't think would happen when you sign your escrow papers!
