North Elm Animal Hospital has been taking care of my pets for 9 years. With 3 cats, we have needed a lot of help. The staff is always helpful and have been available after hours...

Obviously didn't have enough school to be examining animals. I am so furious with this animal hospital because at the beginning of this year I took my 13 year old beaglematian in ...

Poor attitudes and Customer Service! 2/9/2013

I found that there are alot of other great vets in greensboro. I have come to find in several years in dealing with this clinic that they are very crude to their employees which in turn makes the employee's ugly to the customers. I began to question them when I noticed several of the staff not ever smiling or even trying to be nice while handling my pets. Then I overheard how they scream and treat their staff behind closed doors and its not very pretty. I found myself putting off comming in for my dogs shots and regular visits. Finally it came down to a certain doctor there who decided that she would take her bad day out on me and made a smart comment towards my pet that she knew whould offend me. All I can say is after that I realized that I was paying this place to act in that manner and if I didnt agree with it I didnt have to come back ever again. So I researched online and found a Stellar clinic called James Landing Veterinary Hospital and I've been happy with them ever since. I'm writing this review so others who do the research can be warned ahead of time before they feel that they are wasting their time and money. more

Very poor customer service, lack of care and appreciation for animals 9/2/2011

??North Elm Animal Hospital: The vet here sent my little sister's year old puppy home after getting spayed with no pain medication or even a cone to prevent her from licking the surgical wound. She almost died of an infection after just one day after the surgery. My mom had to take her to emergency care at 3 in the morning and my little sister was left wondering if her dog would make it or not. When North Elm heard about this, the doctors tried to make excuses and make it seem like I should be at fault. We ended up taking the dog to another vet so she would be taken care of properly and by veterinarians who care about people and animals. In the end we ended up paying $600+ dollars for a surgery that should have cost only $223. As a student studying veterinary medicine, I am appalled and disgusted by the procedures and lack of responsibility that all the associates here display. If you love your pet, do not go here. For the sake of your pet's health, the Humane Society even does a better job of caring for animals. Take your pets elsewhere if you want them to be treated the way that they deserve. more

North Elm Animal Hospital 1/9/2007

We love North Elm Animal Hospital in Greensboro, located at 3626 North Elm Street, not far from the Pisgah Church Road intersection. Claudia Sims, our primary vet, is thorough and loving to our dog. We know that our pet is getting the best possible care. The office staff is also very nice. Everyone seems to enjoy being there, which is great! Their prices seem in line with most vet clinics around, and you can usually get an appointment in a timely manner. Our dog does not like staying in the kennel overnight, however, so I can't really recommend that. The phone number is 336-545-3400. good luck! more

North Elm Animal Hospital 4/3/2006

I loved that everyone who works at North Elm Animal Hospital loves animals! Everyone played with my dog and gushed about how cute she was, which made us feel great! They make everyone feel like they have the best pet ever! We adopted our pup from the Animal Shelter, and Claudia Sims, the vet, was wonderful to our dog and to us! I can't say that I would recommend boarding a dog there. Our pup came back and was quite unhappy with us. more
