Vivian is lucky to still have a hospital that is able to provide care for the residents in such a small town. I know over the last several years, that when family members have been in, that we have found the staff to be caring, compassionate and concerned about the well being of the patient. This hospital doesn't offer all the amenities of the bigger hospitals else where, but it does offer it's best for the citizens of rural Caddo Parish. On a visit with family, my wife had a major tooth problem, hundreds of miles from home and on a holiday weekend, this is where we turned for relief. They were able to get her the relief she needed and we were able to make it back to our home to where she could see our doctors and dentist. They filed the paper work with our insurance, even though we were out of state. Through the years, I have come to respect the effort they show, no matter how serious the condition of the patient is.
