This doctor is rude and wants you in and out. The wait times are crazy long (over 45 minutes) and the staff is rude and uncaring. Try someone else.

Wonderful Dr. and staff 7/8/2013

I will have to disagree with all the negative comments about Dr. Dozier and his Staff. I have been seeing Dr. Dozier for at least 10 years, and He and his staff, espessially Jenny His P.A., have been nothing but proffessional, competant and caring. I drive over from San Angelo, and I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to see either Dr. Dozier or Jenny. Every time I call the front desk staff is so very sweet. As far as any narcotic medications being prescribed they keep very close watch on your progress with each new medication, and evaluate well. You must be seen every 6 months for a complete exam and evaluation of your medications or you can not have them refilled again. Dr. Dozier is not a quack Dr. handing out narcotics, he is someone who is trying to help us who are in chronic pain, and for that I am truely grateful. Thanks a bundle to Jenny, I feel like she has saved my life. Karen F. more

Questionable 1/24/2011

I would have to question this Dr's pain management methods as he has seen my mother-in-law once, almost a year ago after another Abilene physician implanted a nerve stimulation device. At her initial visit, Tramadol was prescribed. He has continued to refill this med with no subsequent office visits to evaluate her condition or attempt to decrease and eventually get her off pain meds that are potentially addictive.I believe physicians that prescribe controlled substances are required by law to see the patient and monitor the doses. I personally would not trust this Dr. for anyone's pain management. more

Pain 12/28/2005

If you are looking for a doctor for pain control, Dr Dozier is a good choice. He is a no nonsense type of person and is strictly professional. He knows how to help you with your pain control, but his attitude is something some people might have a hard time dealing with. He comes across as being arrogant, but as a doctor I do have to highly recommend him! more
