First trip today for lunch. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell of my Aunt's homecooking from Alabama, however my one buddy commented that it seemed musty to him. Oh well, maybe the place hasn't recovered from years of being a smoker's paradise. Point is, the smell took me back. After winning a bet that they do take credit cards and arguing that sweet cornbread is actually what Yanks prefer, I decided to order the turkey and dressing, greens and okra. All was good but relatively bland. If you like the true flavor of vegetables, this is the place. I think I could actually taste the red clay in the turnip greens. God I love fatback and missed it here. Service was great even though one friend lost control over not getting enough of the southern style cornbread. The food caused us to talk about school lunch for 20 mins - wierd.
Pros: service, speed, parking, amount of food
Cons: lacking flavor
