Amazing Dentist! 4/11/2012

I recently had to have a cavity filled, and it was the most gentle and pain free experience I have ever had from a dentist. She is gentle, fast, and efficient. I’ve had 3 appointments now, and I’ve never had to wait more than a minute in the waiting room. She is sassy and funny, and she makes going to the dentist fun. People with big egos who can’t laugh at themselves probably wouldn’t like her. She is the best dentist I have ever had. more

Good: Dr. Kott is an excellent dentist. Our family has been seeing her for over ten years. She is efficient with her time and has an excellent work ethic. She is always on time, too. She is friendly and her staff is responsive.. Bad: nothing. Improvements: none. more

Do not go to her~~ 8/22/2011

Do not go to this dentist!!! Everyone in the office is very rude, especially Dr, Kott herself. When you ask Dr. Kott or one of the nurses to explain something they act very annoyed and give you an explanation in an extremely demeaning tone. I have been going to the dentist for over 30 years and this was by far the worst experience to date. more

Definitely Recommend 3/8/2011

After three cleanings, I've never had to wait for an appointment and I always leave happy. She's professional and I also like the office. No complaints here. more

Dr. Kott is awesome...I went from being an apprehensive, emergency only patient to one who looks forward to seeing Dr. Kott for regular appointments. Thank God I found her! more

Friendly and efficient 3/2/2010

Dr. Kott has been on time and quick for all my appointments. Not having to wait for a scheduled appointment is a big plus for me plus my gums weren't made a bloody mess like other dentists I've had in the past. I'd recommend her for anyone. more

Quirky but very good 1/28/2010

Good: Dr. Kott is very thorough and gentle. You won't get a partially cleaned cavity sealed up only rot away over time. She is technologically up to date and treats you with respect. I like that she gives out a free toothbrush, floss, and toothpaste with every visit -- its the perfect size for keeping at work for after-lunch brushing. Her staff is friendly and helpful.. Bad: She sometimes recommends cosmetic fixes that can run up the bill. She doesn't seem to appreciate that people without insurance have to make sacrifices to afford dental services.. Improvements: More affordable services and accepting dental HMOs.. more

Great Dentist! 8/27/2009

As a very apprehensive patient, my first visit with Dr. Kott eased my anxiety and made my experience (root canal)a comfortable one. Dr Kott is very down to earth and a knowledgable dentist. She takes time to talk and explain her course of treatment. She builds a rapport with her patients and her staff is wonderful. I can't reccomend her enough! I will definately be a return patient and plan to bring the rest of the family. more

Good: I have bee a patient of Dr. Kott's for over 10 years now and would not give her or her staff up for anything. Professional, friendly, and her technology amazes me. State of the art dental care. My teeth have never looked better.. Improvements: I actually made a joke about the old furniture in the waiting room and the next time I came in she had all new furniture. I was only kidding, Dr. Kott!. Other: As for the comment from another writer about someone being rude in the office, they must be crazy. I actually look forward to seeing everyone in the office. I was in the newspaper one time and one of the gals cut out my picture and placed it in my file. Who does that kind of personal stuff anymore? Dr. Kott and her staff are excellent in what they do and they do it with a smile. Dr. Kott has improved my smile in more ways than one. They love chocolate, too. Never hurts to bring them some on your next visit.. more

Dr. Nicole Kott - review 7/28/2009

Good: My daughter and I have been going to Dr. Kott for more than 10 years. She is a wonderful dentist. We have moved away from Lombard, but we continue to travel 20 miles to use Dr. Kott as our dentist.She is very patient, kind and helpful. She ensures that the patient is comfortable and understands procedures.She really does quality work. Her office staff is wonderful as well.Kathy the hygenist puts me at ease. I am very thankful that I found Dr. Kott.I have referred my parents to her and they are thankful!. Bad: I like everything!. Improvements: No improvements.. more

Good dentist,not good staff 6/29/2009

I think Dr. Kott is a good dentist and really cares for the patient! Dont like that you can see the schedule for the day with peoples info on it and the front desk person was very RUDE..telling me i NEED to make a payment right away, she was older with white hair--if they get rid of her i will continue to go! more

Professional and caring 2/6/2009

My visits to Dr. Kott's office have always been pleasant and professional. The entire staff is so caring and I can tell Dr. Kott wants nothing but the best, not only for me but for all of her patients as well. She has always been prompt, I have never had to wait, and everyone at the office is warm and welcoming. I highly reccommend this office. I am glad I found her! more

Great Dentist 11/19/2008

I never really realized how out of date my old dentist was until I visited Dr. Kott. I don't agree with the "Guest" who said she was pompous. She's always very courteous and caring. Perhaps it was the tone of her voice, which is kind of quiet, that maybe have led that reviewer's opinion. I will definitely continue to go to Dr. Kott. more

Attitude 9/23/2008

Computer screens in every showing the names of people on her schedule for that day, with their social security numbers! Not what I want the patient before or after me to see. The smart ass comments I got when asking some simple questions or casual talk I should have never got. I'm the paying customer and I deserve more respect than that. The work performed is fine. She's a good dentist but the pompus attitude from her has got to go. I'll never go back. more
