Editorial review from Citysearch 11/20/2012

I read many reviews about Nicole Miller Bridal prior to visiting the showroom and was apprehensive and skeptical about my appointment because of all of the negative statements.\r \r However, my experience was completely different! I found all of the sales staff \r to be so helpful and friendly, especially Rilda. When I was not able to find a dress that I liked in the showroom, she was able to obtain a dress from the corporate office that was next season’s model and not being offered in retail yet. When I decided on that dress, she provided frequent updates of when the dress would arrive and provided her personal cell phone number to reach out to her anytime. I cannot imagine working with anyone more customer service focused! \r \r Overall, if you are looking for a simple but elegant gown that won’t break the bank, Nicole Miller is the place to shop for your wedding dress! Don’t forget to ask for Rilda! \r more

Not For The Run-of-the-Mill Bride 4/2/2008

For the bride with a desire for something more unique than the typical wedding gown, I would highly recommend visiting the Nicole Miller boutique. Contrary to the other review I read here, the gowns were certainly not ""cheaply made"" at all, and my experience with the staff was an excellent one. Two of my bridesmaids, my mom, and I were welcomed into a very sizable and pleasant bridal area, separate from the rest of the boutique. The sample gowns lined one wall, and I selected six or seven to try on, although the attendant did not discourage me from trying more on. In fact, based on my initial selections, she recommended a few more gowns I might like. She was very helpful, attentive, and organized throughout the process, without being pushy at all. She pinned each gown perfectly to my body and matched accessories to finish the look. I found the gown of my dreams ... it's gorgeous: edgy with a vintage flair, very unique, and exquisitely detailed. I ordered it right away, and received a call just a few days later that the dress was ready to be picked up. Pros: fantastic designs, great value, pleasant atmosphere, helpful service more

Horrendous service 3/3/2008

I made an appointment to visit Nicole Miller to view their bridal collection. This was the least expensive salon I visited by far, but since I am getting married on a beach I thought some of their simple, chic gowns may be appropriate. When I arrived I was hurried into a large, cold room with a cement floor. The salesgirl pointed to the gowns hanging in the corner and I was asked if I knew which gowns I wanted to try on, because ""most people don't try on all of them."" Keep in mind, ""all of them"" consisted of about 10 cheap gowns. Despite the fact that the consultation appointment was supposed to be an hour, the salesgirl pointed to her watch after 15 minutes and told me we'd have to hurry as it was ""A matter of time."" The room is shared with other brides, and after a coupe minutes a man came in and told my friend she'd have to get off the couch because there were other people coming in. They never did arrive, but my friend was forced to stand. It appeared that because these gowns are sold at a far lower price-point, the service is far superior as well. The girl who I was assigned to appeared to be bored and was clearly just punching the clock and trying to get her acting career off the ground. I hope she's not holding her breath, by the way. At any rate, I think you get what you pay for. Some of the gowns were cute enough, but they weren't well made and there is now way I'd trust them with fittings and alterations. I left after trying on just a few gowns and went to Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier. They are higher end and te service is FAR friendlier and the atmosphere is more relaxing. Cons: terrible service, cheaply made gowns. more
