The wood-weave blinds we ordered 6 years ago from Next Day Blinds for our living and dining rooms still look and function great. The new honeycomb blinds and roman shade we just purchased look great and we had excellent service from the sales, measuring, and installation staff. We ran into problems with the window treatment we ordered for our sliding glass door - the product was not right for our door. NDB went the extra mile and worked with us to make sure we were satisfied with the entire order. more

I had a very smooth and friendly experience with the company. I was stuck not knowing the blinds I had, that I needed to match. The shop-at-home service rep. determined that for me and explained that I'd be better off ordering in-store or online since my order was small. more

We had such a great experience with Next Day Blinds. The designer came, Richard, to our home and helped up pick out a look that worked. He was extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. They were quick and easy. When the installers came out a week later to put them in, the guy noticed a tiny difference on one of the slats and sent an order in to fix it. That was fixed within a couple days. They were so thorough and wonderful. We love them and can't wait to do our next project with them. more

The installation team that did the shutters and blinds were very professional and great to work with. All the measurements were right on point. We got shutters and blinds throughout the house. more

We just spent over $3,000 for blinds and are now trying to figure out what to get to put in windows behind blinds or over them for privacy and to block out light! I think I should have been informed about the fact that they won't close all the way or block out light and people can see in if they go up to windows! I got the 2"" faux wood blinds. I am calling them on monday to see if they will do anything! more

We hadn't changed window treatments for years, so we were due! I called the 1-800 scheduler and before we knew it a shop-at home expert arrived (right on schedule) to help us go through the extensive choices with us. She took measurements and placed the order and on the next work day let us know when the installer would be coming. The day of the installation someone called to tell us exactly what time the installer would arrive at our doorstep. He showed up as promised and very carefully and professionally replaced all of our old ugly shades with beautiful new blinds and honeycomb shades. We are thrilled! Don't hesitate - just do it! We recently had some remodeling done in our home in Bethesda and we wanted to change the window coverings that we bought from Next Day Blinds 15 years ago. They all worked perfectly, but we had changed the d?cor. The shop-at-home representative was very knowledgeable about all their products and she made the whole process a lot of fun and very easy. She measured all the windows and showed us a lot of options. We chose honeycomb shades upstairs and woven wood shades downstairs. Then right on schedule, a Next Day Blinds representative called us to let us know when the installer would be coming to our home. He was on time, removed his shoes and was very polite and careful while he was in our home. He was very professional as he took the old blinds down and before we knew it we had new window coverings. They made a huge difference, our home is now complete. I highly recommend Next Day Blinds and have to all my friends. Pros: Professional, great advise and on time more

Have had our blinds for 3 years now. Have had to have Next Day back 6 times to fix them (different blinds). Minor fixes and they do the fixing, EXCEPT it takes 3-5 weeks to get them out to do the dang fixing. If you want to buy blinds, you can get them next day. If you want to fix them all of a sudden then they don't have any available calls (btw found out the same guys who fix also install- that is bogus that they can't come out right away). So overall I would caution people with this company as their emphasis is on sales, NOT SERVICE!!! Pros: Blinds are good quality Cons: can't get them back to fix them when they break more

I needed window coverings in several rooms and had been waffling about purchasing shutters for years. Next Day Blinds --start to finish-- made this experience a great one! First, someone from Next Day Blinds came to my home to help me with my choices. The woman was incredibly professional and made the overwhelming process so easy--she was helpful and smart as she guided me through my options. Then came the installation day--which I dreaded. Thought I would be waiting around all day for the installer to show up---but that wasn't the case. The installer came as scheduled-- my windows were a little tricky for the installation but he skillfully made some adjustments and my shutters fit perfectly. He left my house immaculate--all in all, it was a wonderful experience. I love my new shutters and blinds---they exude quality and they have really changed the look of my rooms. It was clear the technicians were extensively trained in all areas of measuring, application, and installation. I recently built a beautiful home in Bethesda, Md. I met with a representative from Next Day Blinds that accommodated me on several occasions by bringing samples to my new home and then measuring my windows during a lot of construction so that I could have blinds by my move-in day. The service I received was amazing. I had all of my windows covered with beautiful sheer shades, but then decided to change my mind for one of my windows in my lower level. My sales person never ""missed a beat"" and my new design was realized without any problem. The installation was as seamless as the purchase and I have recommended Next Day Blinds to my friends. more

I have been attempting to get NDB to fix the blinds in my rental for the past 6 months. Acting on behalf of my landlord, who is overseas, I first tried to get NDB to make a service call but was stonewalled because I am not the original purchaser (although there is no dispute that blinds in my condo are NDB product). Finally, I got NDB to make a service call -- at my expense. Three months later, blinds were inoperative again. This time, I was assured by customer service that I would not be charged for repairs. Serviceman, however, refused to re-string blinds in home, as promised, and insisted blinds could only be repaired -at my expense - at factory (this was after the serviceman arrived at my home on the wrong day, too!). Following many calls back and forth, NDB finally agreed to send the blinds out for repair with the proviso that if the factory deemed them to be beyond repar I would have to buy new ones. That was six weeks ago. Today, in response to my third follow-up phone call, I was informed there is no record of my blinds having been sent out to the factory. Although I have a receipt with an invoice number on it, no one can locate the blinds...so much for next day service.... Cons: Worst Customer Service more

I purchased Next Day Blinds about 4 weeks ago, for my entire home, and had an excellent experience. I used their Shop At Home service and a truly delightful woman came into my home to share her window covering design expertise and to measure my windows. She was extremely professional and very thoughtful. She removed her shoes once she came into the house, not wanting to track anything inside, and her guidance through the product selection was very helpful. She made very observant product suggestions and held samples of the product next to the windows for my final choosing. When she measured my windows, she noticed some oddities with the frame and carefully measured around these oddities to make sure the blinds fit perfectly when they arrived--and they did. The installer was equally as considerate and professional as the Shop At Home representative. He carefully checked each and every blind in every room to make sure they were flawless. I'm delighted with my blinds (they really are beautiful), and the service. The price was very affordable and competitive (I did my research), and the quality wonderful. Finally, I was impressed by the follow up call I received a week later by another Next Day Blinds employee wanting to make sure I had a good experience. I highly recommend using them.
