The food is great and the healthy options are everywhere. Can't go wrong ordering from the sandwich menu -- the veggie burger and the turkey sando are good. The chinese chicken soup -- not salad -- is really good. And the juice/coffee bar is great. Servers sometimes take 20 minutes between table visits and unfortunately parking on Robertson is a nightmare. Don't trip running here, but when you wind up in the restaurant, you'll definitely enjoy it. Pros: Juice Bar, Sandwiches, Chinese Chicken Soup Cons: Servers, Parking more

Great place for a Healthy Lunch 4/27/2009

The Newsroom is a great restaurant for those looking to eat healthy food. They have a Newsstand full of all kinds of magazines you can read while you wait for a table. There are many celebrities there and The Ivy is right across the street so you will always see a famous person. The food and atmosphere were amazing! I just wish it didn't take so long for a table! Pros: Burgers, Atmosphere, Newspapers/Magazines Cons: Long wait for a table more

One of the best places for food, service AND ambience. And celebrity-spotting if that's something you enjoy. Staff is very friendly, the cuisine is Californian (I guess). For a vegetarian like myself, this place is a godsend. The veggie burger is simply delicious. My wife and kids love Newsroom.
