At first, I thought this was a good place but what an eye openening experience I had on 4-25-18 when I went in there to pick up the ashes of my beloved little dog. I had called them to say I was coming there soon, when I got there , a sign was posted on the locked door saying they were closed for a staff meeting. Why could they not have told me this on the phone? So I sit outside for 30 minutes, I just want my little dog, I'm sad, I'm mad that they had no courtessy and I said so when the girl finally opened the door. I simply told her that maybe they should talk about how to be courteous at their next staff meeting, as it was hard enough to come in here for this. The very rude girl handed me my dogs ashes and with a laughing tone in her voice said "" Have a Great Day ""! OMG How disrespectful and evil of her. Apparently the manager is just as bad as she did nothing about it when my husband told her about it! My beautiful dog got condolence cards and even flowers from other vets she had been to when they heard she had died, but this is how she got treated at Newmans of Deltona. DISGRACEFUL!!!!! If they treat us like this to our face How do they treat our pets behind our backs!!!! more

I cannot say enough good things about the treatment and compassion we received when we had to put down my service dog. The vet didn't try to talk me into expensive treatments that would not have worked anyway. They were so kind and warm. We got a card a few days later expressing sorrow for my loss, I have never gotten anything like that from any vet. If I every needed to go through that again I will go back to Newman. I will continue to take all my pets to them. Great\r \r \r more

WORST ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN CENTRAL FLORIDA 4/25/2012

Poorly trained vets (misdiagnosis of my pet...they didn't fess up to their screw up *until I was in route to a competent vet!) Worthless staff (someone explain how after 24 hours of supposedly getting IV fluids and a report of no vomiting, the cat was more dehydrated then when he arrived) overpriced (500$ for misdiagnosis) Don't bother calling the ""corporate number "" (all I got was a snotty tech telling me she didn't like my attitude when I got a call back...so much for their claims of being ""accountable "" on their website. more

I was so disappointed. I went to Val-u-vet after hearing how great their service was and affordable they were. DO NOT TRUST THEM!! more

Fabulous Vet 8/23/2011

I just want to say that the staff at Val-U-Vet in Deltona, FL are wonderful. My dog was sick, declining quickly. We took her over to val-u-vet and they were comforting and professional. They took one look at my baby and knew she was really sick. They had her bloodwork done within an hour, called us back and compassionately told us she was terminally ill. They helped us through the process of putting her down. The technician not only comforted my dog, but she comforted my husband and I and I truly appreciate all that they did for us. Today, we received a condolence card in the mail from them with the most beautiful poem. I plan on adopting another dog in the future and will most definitely go back to val-u-vet for all his/her shots and care. They really are a wonderful crew. Don't wait - if your dog or pet is ill, just go there. They were able to treat all kinds of pets while we were there, including a pet squirrel. I would highly recommend them to all. more
