The worst staff members 8/11/2010

Good: I like that they had the major i was looking for.. Bad: Staff member are very unhelpful and not friendly. They do not know their job neither they do their job. They can not help you with anything. They only send you from one department to another or tell you to speak to someone else, who doesn't know anything either.. Improvements: They need to recheck and correct mistake they make and be a little bit more caring towards students. Few of the professors in school have sucha heavy accent that it's impossible for anyone to understand them.. Other: I had several issues with my transcript, E-sims, and etc. First they had my first name misspelled then my last name. Then they had wrong social on my E-sims. I was nto able to register for classes and they didn't want to register me in school until i contacted the President of school.. more

The one thing I found really shaky was the security. It didn't seem very tight. Even though they check IDs at the front, you can flash anything and the guards let you in. As far as the class, I took an Intro to Psychology course. The teacher was very knowledgeable. I didn't particularly like her teaching style--a lot of memorization, but I still enjoyed taking it. more

In the beginning I thought that this would be a low-budget educational facility but I was pleasantly surprised to find a serious attitude from the staff and professors. There aren't so many places in New York where you can study technology related courses, but City Tech has proved over and over that they are able to offer a comfortable learning environment alongside with a high level of education. Only problem with this school is their elevators... more
