New World Record was once an alternative record store but over the past few years it has starting selling some mainstream artists as well. The store also offers a wide collection of pop-culture items as well. These include Simpson items, Beatles lunch boxes, various things you would not be able to buy somewhere else. The Jazz and Classical sections are decent as well. more

New World Record is the local record shop to be at. They carry new and used music, and allow you to trade in old music as well. Those who shop here come in all varieties - yuppies, artsy folks, teenagers, families, and many locals. They occasionally have local bands play in-store as well. The interior is simple, yet slightly urban. Connected to the store is a local favorite coffee place, spot coffee. more
