I read the good reviews on this post and had a certain expectation. Initially, I was not impressed with the general appearance of the place but I was meeting someont there so I went ahead with it. I had called ahead and made an appointment for a regular manicure & pedicure for two people. She had asked if we wanted a special pedicure for $60, which we declined and asked for a regular pedicure. In the end, we were told we had received the spa pedicure which cost $40 each, whereas the regular pedicure was only $25. The manicurists were very nice and did a good job, but the manager/owner had no sympathy for the misunderstanding and simply offered to give us a 10% discount on our next manicure, which we declined since we will not be going back. Given that their English is hard to understand, I thought this to be unfair, however, I decided that it was not worth haggling over. Not very business-minded of them. Honestly, their location is convenient but there are many, many salons in this city that are much more hygienic with a better atmosphere for similar prices. I'm going back to All Season's Nail and Spa at E 57th. Don't believe the good posts on this site - I often wonder who writes these posts. Who's to say they aren't written by the owners??
