New ChinaTown is absolutely the cleanest, greatest Chinese restaurant in Miami. The little cheap crap holes and the lovely wait at PF Changs are nothing compared to this place. Although its pricey, the portions are huge, enough for a group of three or four. Everything is fresh, clean, and delicious. The service is phenomenal. I refuse to eat Chinese anywhere else. I love this place and my father has been coming here for 20 years, I plan on continuing that tradition. The best Chinese in town! Highly recommended! more

Excellent food and great service. Try the Chilean Seabass with pepper sauce, healthy and delicious! more

Miami has no good Chinese food, but New Chinatown does an okay job. The food varies. Sometimes it's good (but not excellent). Sometimes it's just acceptable.\r \r The girls who work the cash register can be rude. more

New Chinatown is good... but so is Magic Wok and just about every other cheap Chinese Restaurant. The prices here are a little steep for what you get and the service leaves little to be desired. Pass on this place... you won't be missing much. more

average fare ... in my humble opinion more

Always good food; healthy, too! Who else makes fried rice with brown rice? Been eating there for more than 20 years. Rarely disappointed. more

Is there any other "decent" chinese restaurant in Miami? This one is really good. Ok service, spacious room, unadorned decoration. The garlic eggplant was very good. Price is fair. more

We had takeout. The food was good I would give it a 4 out 5. Notice their prices have gone up. more

Very Dissapointing 11/25/2009

Went there with a friend. The service was just horrendous. The waitstaff with the exception of the bus boy, were very rude. It took about 15 minutes for them to get up take our order only after I had asked the bus boy that I needed to order food. The food was mediocre at best. Nothing out of this world and definitely not four star. I sure hope this place gets there stuff together because the recession won't allow for businesses like his to continue operating. more

The Old Chinatown becomes new and Chic again! They upgraded the looks, baths, seevice but the most: the Food! It is a step above of the old guard Chinese that we are acustoned in old Miami restaurants. New chef guidance from inside makes me again to rediscover the old flavor rich dishes of the chinese food. This comes with a price. Do not think this will come as the same boring Chinese price from more

Great food. Always fresh. But SO expensive. more

Good Chinese food 3/25/2009

I am of Chinese decent and to me, while this resturant doesn't necessarily represent authentic chinese cooking, it's a good safe place to take those friends who want to try Chinese food that isn't take-out. Pros: parking, food Cons: smaller portions more

Pretty decent restaurant 12/4/2008

had dinner there a few weeks ago, quite tasty, it was a busy night so the service was a bit slow. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend in the future, and I'll be back. Pros: Tasty, good food Cons: service was a bit slow at times. more

Best Chinese in Miami! 10/18/2008

This place is awesome! I grew up eating at a Chinese restaurant in Boston and have never been able to find a place to compare to the quality until I found this place! The food is always fabulous, the wait staff is very friendly and efficient. My only complaint is with who I think is the owner. He is consistently rude. I have a friend that will no longer go to this place because the guy always has an attitude. If you can just ignore him, everything else there is out of this world! more

Horrible and overpriced 9/8/2008

This restaurant has repeatedly won praises from the Miami Herald. Back in the day, they were well deserved.... more

Just had a wonderful Chinese dinner at NEW CHINATOWN. Excellent waiter, (Nestor from Nicarauga), more

Worst customer service 9/16/2006

I was searching on citysearch for a good chinese restaurant so I went on Friday night and was doing takeout and I asked for some plates and fork and the cahier gave me an attitude. I have no idea what was going on. As i was waiting, there were so many waiters standing around and there was even a waiter that was bringing food by the front. I felt that this restaurant is not high class and should train their employees better. Pros: Good food Cons: Bad customer service(not well trained employees) more
