Recently visited Nelsons to branch out and try a new restaurant and the only way to describe the food is terrible. It started with a sashimi tuna appetizer with maple syrup. Strange combination I though but gave it a try. Not good and the tuna was overcooked and low grade. For entrees, I had flank steak with spinach and potatoes. Steak was blan and vegetables were cold. My wife had scallops, rissoto, and vegetables. Once again cold and blan. It's almost like everything is pre made and scooped out to your plate. Server asked how our meal was and I had not choice but to say awful. Our server sent over the manager who handle the situation very well and comp'd our meal. I wouldn't recommend dining there until they do something about the food.
