I was amazingly disappointed. As a new patient, they wanted to give me a complete evaluation -- and I said fine, but what I want and *need* are my the small chips fixed on my two front teeth. It was my sole purpose for seeing a dentist. I got there with filled out paperwork in hand, but still had to wait quite a while....and that was even ok, since we all know these places have some wait time. I got fully evaluated, then Dr. Harris said I could go. I said, wait...the *only* reason I'm here it to get my two front teeth chips repaired. She said no one told her about it, but agreed to go ahead and perform the service since I explained it was my only reason for making an appointment. Dr. Harris proceeded to put the wrong color composite *ALL OVER MY FRONT TEETH*...not even quite like veneer, in streaks where she pushed it around with the iron hook. I was surprised to *feel* and see her obviously putting composite in the center of each tooth, when the chips were 2mm x 4mm on the bottom of each tooth....but I figured she knew what she was doing. WRONG. When she had me look in the mirror, I was horrified and told her that the wrong color composite was obviously streaked across both teeth. Her answer was that she didn't know what else she could do, since THAT was obviously my real tooth color. Egad. Teeth do discolor over time, but NOT in geometric streaks! So she said she'd try to fix the color, then she put MORE composite on my front teeth, once again from the center, and then smeared it in *different* geometric streaks than she did before. So, the end result was that my teeth were now 3 shades of off-white, and in 2 different geometric streaks starting a couple mm below my gumline, twice as thick as they were (I'm thinking even moreso than veneers), and they are not even smoothed out properly.
My teeth looked 10 times better BEFORE I visited the dentist. Everyone who has laid eye on me before and after completely agree with that statement.
I had the same procedure done @3 years ago when my former dentist couldn't talk me into veneers...and he was *angry* about it, but he still did an awesome job. I could not be more disappointed with the performance of Dr. Harris, and I waited 5 days to write this review to give my nerves an opportunity to calm down. And now, I have to find someone to fix this mess, after I'm quite sure she claimed to my insurance that she did the fix, when all she did was create twice as much work to get the job done. If Dr. Harris can't handle well these simple dental procedures, I certainly can't trust them for any further or more complicated work.
