National Auto Plaza

I will never refer ANYONE to National Auto Plaza. The salesman, service team, and even the management are complete scum bags. We worked primarily with Jon and Chris. Both of them were so wonderful to begin with. Told us all of the right things, joked around with us, made us feel completely comfortable. Jon even told us what to expect, what to say to the managers to get the deal we wanted, and everything. Neither my husband or I felt comfortable making a decision right then, but it was the last day of the month and Jon asked us to sign the papers so he could get his bonus, and let us know that we had 3 days to cancel if we wanted. There were also minor issues with the cars that we wanted fixed before we took the cars, and he told us not to write any ""repairs"" on those forms because they would try to charge us, and that he would get it taken care of for us. We ended up buying 2 cars, and also referred several people to them who also bought cars. We came back within the 3 day period to cancel our contracts because we had decided that we didn't want to go through with it. We went straight to Jon, who seemed upset but agreed to help figure something out. He got his manager (Chris) involved and then DISAPPEARED. He was nowhere to be found. We had him paged several times and he never came until about an hour later. In the meantime, we were stuck with his airhead manager Chris. Chris was very unprofessional and very rude. He raised his voice to us and told us that there was nothing we could do about it. Chris ended up leaving us stranded also. Koo, the finance guy, ended up coming out and talking to us. He tried to resolve the situation, but also raised his voice to begin with. He refused to speak with my dad who was there as support. Jon showed up later on and was very emotional, told us that we were going to make him lose his job. Then he disappeared again and my husband got a text saying ""I hope you're happy, I lost my job now."" (To which we found out was not true, because we came back several times and he was still there.) He also texted some of the people we referred to tell them to tell us to stop. Eventually we agreed to work some things out with Koo and we took the cars home. Both of our cars, AND TWO of the cars that were bought because of our referrals, have had MAJOR issues and it has only been 6 months. We have had to spend thousands of dollars on our cars since then to get them in working, decent order. One thing is the Catalytic Converter, which would not have passed inspection. Also the trunk of the SUV will not close, which also would not pass inspection. This was also something that was promised to be fixed... broke AGAIN within a week of buying it, and they refused to fix it again. My husband's windows don't work. We dropped it off to have it fixed, and picked it up with MORE problems than when we dropped it off. And the windows are still not fixed. We were told it was under warranty because it was something they worked on before we bought the car, but then when we took it back to get worked on, they informed us that the problem i s not what they worked on before, so it would not be covered under warranty. National Auto Plaza is full of sleazy, dishonest people and I will never refer anyone there again. more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! Do not buy from them!!! They bumped up the prices by a couple grand and have keep forgetting everything they need us to bring and keep having us come back and then try to blame stuff on us when they have lied to us and totally ripped us off! Don't ever go and especially don't work with John Filandro!! more

I would not recommend doing business with these people. My experience w them started off good...came in three times looking to find the right the vehicle for the right price...the sales guy was great, helpful, knowledgable, down to earth and not pushy but we could not find a vehicle that fit our budget that we were happy with the first two times coming in...they called us in for our third visit with a vehicle that would work...loved the vehicle...the sales manager, who in my opinion was a little aggressive with a smart lipped attitude, stepped in and offered us a deal just slightly above where we wanted to be w $ down that we didn't plan on paying and would not budge...there were a couple of small items on the vehicle that we wanted fixed and asked them if we agreed to the deal if they would fix those items and we were told yes...we told them we needed a minute to discuss it amongst ourselves...we took a minute to decide then my husband went back over to speak w the sales manager and tell him we agreed as long as they fixed the two items...apparently we angered the man when we didn't jump all over his offer right from the start and he replied to my husband using cuss words that ""we're not fixing sh--"". That of course angered my husband who pointed his finger at the guy and said ""hold on a sec...you just told us not ten minutes ago that you would fix these things if we agreed to the deal."" The salesmanager physically hit my husbands hand away which almost started a fight between the two...the sales manager than preceeded to yell at us to ""get the hell of his store"" embarrassing me and alarming my four year old who was with us...I was in total shock and very confused...since we went from calm cool speaking adults to this within a matter of minutes. Obviously we left the store and another manager came out to speak with us...he de-escalated the situation which I appreciate but we left there with the understanding that if we still wanted to purchase the vehicle that we would do so for the same deal but they would not honor their offer to fix the problems. We were not going to buy but the manager called us back a few hours later, re-offered us to buy and they would fix the problems. So we agreed once again. Only now everytime we have been back in to the place, we feel odd, not welcome, the salesman treats us different, we have to be ushered around so we do not come in contact w the sales manager...we needed some paperwork signed by a third party out of state and were told that they would overnight the paperwork...here it is five days later and it has still not been sent...also re-test drove the vehicle when we went in to give the down payment and the vehicle had new problems...the vehicle has been in the shop 3 days now and the salesman doesnt call us back with any info or update even though he says he will...after we called AGAIN to check status he rudely passed us on to the mechanic to speak to...who never called us back after he said he would...called again and left message for the mechanic to return our call...no return call...funny that...now that this is happening I have searched the web for other reviews about this place and have found many many similiar to mine...also the bbb gives them an F...so...buy here at your own risk... more

I was very dissatisfied with NAP I bought a jeep for 14000 dollars and it wasn't what i needed so I went back a month or so later trying to trade it in expecting to take a slight loss. They would only give me 7200 dollars for it then tried to sell me a truck for 4000 dollars over bluebook. They wont see me in there again! more

Will NEVER go here again!!! Went in 3 months ago looking to trade in my car. Wasn't happy with the trade they offered so I left. Then a couple of weeks ago they called wanting to work on a deal and promised they would save us money so we went back. They now offered us 5,000 dollars less trade then when we went in 3 months ago. To say I was mad was an understatement!!!!!! They were looking to screw us hard and manipulated the numbers to make it not look so bad! They would not listen to any thing I would say. Every car they would show us was way over the price I told them I wanted to spend. And it was hard to get the price of the car out of them in the first place!!!! It was very irritating to have my time and gas wasted!!! Would not recommend to anyone!!! Take your business other places you'll be better off!!! I will never ever go back that's for sure!!!!! more

RUN! This place will misrepresent their product, make promises and then recant. If you tire of being ignored and seek other avenues, ie BBB, Gephardt, etc. the man in charge will threaten to bury you in a lawsuit. You would seriously fare better buying from a guy in a plaid polyester suit with too much grease in his hair. more

I just want to say Howdy to the guys at National Auto Plaza and thank them for all they did to get me in the car I wanted. I have never been treated so well. You said you would make it work and you did more for me than any other dealership I have been to. In fact I think you almost gave away the store just to get me in that car. more

National auto plaza was super fantastic!!! They treated me the way I wanted to be treated.I did alot of home work before I bought my Mercedes-benz and they beat every dealer by thousands on a car that was in perfect condition.I'm a very happy customer and would recommed them to everyone!!!!!! more

National auto plaza in sandy is THEE most amazing car dealership i have ever went too, my family has bought four cars from Ozzie and his partner. They were wonderful people that made my time very worth while. I would recommend everybody to get a car from there. All the employees were wonderful people but i very much enjoyed Ozzie, he gotten everything we needed answered every single question i had and took great care of me. I WILL HAPPILY SAY I AM GREATLY SATISFIED! more
