So my go-to sushi restaurant was no longer taking orders on Valentine's day so I ordered from these guys instead. I used to order often with little problems when I lived closer. But this time around, during pickup, the employees seemed pretty annoyed by customers. I understand no one wants to be working the night of Valentine's, and they were really busy but there's little for stupid immature comments. As I walked in, employees were complaining about phone calls and talked about wanting to disconnect the phones... which is fine by me most of the time. I understand being tired and frustrated. But then, when the gentleman asked the staff in the back if my order was ready, I hear "No! Go home!". They noticed I heard the comment, mumbled to eachother and said nothing to me. And this was as I was paying for the food. I usually tip something, especially on days this busy, but that "go home" comment inspired me not to. Besides all that, I was told the order would be ready in 25-30 mins. I am actually 45 minutes into waiting for my food as I type this. \r
On the other hand, food is pretty good here. No complaints there... I've never actually eaten inside the restaurant so I can't comment on that. \r
53 mins later, finally in my car with the food. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day...
