Nak Won Catering is a popular vendor for many Asians. At first glance, they may appear to be a bargain. However, selecting them to provide mediocre let alone good service for any important event is probably not a wise decision. The food provided is typical Korean food. Their panchan is acceptable but not outstanding. However, acceptable service is certainly not their forte. As a routine, if Nak Won decides they do not wish to provide agreed upon service for an event, they will cancel without any notice just days in advance. This is something they admit they do routinely. They are unapologetic nor do they attempt to make an effort to rectify the situation. Moreover, though they claim they are licensed, bonded and insured, they are not. If you are using Nak Won for an important event such as a wedding, graduation or other gathering, I would think twice. There are numerous other Korean caterers that provide similar quality food at similar prices with the added bonus of reliable service. They may be cheap, but buyer beware. Do not believe for a moment that the $40 Chanel bag you are buying on Western Ave is made in France.
Pros: Cheap food.
Cons: Unreliable. Poor Service. You get what you pay for.
