My wife and I were new to the area and we were looking for a decent place for her to have her hair cut and colored, my wife did some research and found that My Spa & Boutique were reputable, so she phoned up and booked to have her hair cut and colored my Meghan.
On the day of the visit my wife sat in the chair as normal whilst Meghan put on the nylon cape and proceeded to cut and color my wife's hair, after she finished my wife was not looking at her shirt she was looking in the mirror at her hair which she liked, however after we got home and my wife changed her clothes she noticed 3 stain marks on her new shirt, she decided to leave it and mark it up to experience as the shirt was not an very expensive one, but still a loss of $55 as the stains were permanent. I asked her what she has done about contacting the owner of the Spa and she said that she was annoyed so she will send an email, she sent the first email that came back because their email system was not able to receive any more emails, so she waited a week and tried again, this time it went through. However even after being received no response was ever received, so when I asked my wife what she put in the email, she told me that she just wanted to tell them about the issue so that they can make sure that it does not happen to anyone else.. She even said in the email that she would still use them again and was not seeking compensation....
Bur because of the lack of communication from the owner of the My Spa in Forney, my wife's opinion changed, she said that the owner obviously does not care about her customers enough to reply, so that she was NEVER going to use them again, she will now look for another more reputable hairdresser.
When i heard this I was shocked that a owner of a small business in a small city like Forney would try and alienate any customer, especially when the hair cut & Color cost $120 without the tip, my wife would have used them at least every two months, so they have lost out on $720 per year ongoing. So as a fellow local business owner, I thought I would make the owner aware of this issue and explain to them that they should know the reason why they have lost a customer and not for my wife just to never use them again as that does not help anyone.
Anyway as expected, my email also fell on deaf ears, as I did not get a reply either, my wife was only looking for recognition of the problem and maybe an apology, but due to the total lack of care about customers or customer care by Chrissy Adams the owner of the My Spa business, she has now lost a customer forever and my wife's bad experience will be spread locally and via this website so that others get the opportunity to find out beforehand what to expect if they have an issue with any of the services they perform... Complaints fall on deaf ears.
As a member of the local chamber of commerce you can rest assured that I will not have anything good to say about this Spa or the owner. I believe her husband runs another business that offers a business directory for Forney, I just hope he can try and drum some business sense into his wife as I am sure he runs his business in a professional manner.
