I loved record stores as a kid and still do as an adult. When I was younger, I'd have given anything to live a few blocks from a record store, the closest was about 50 blocks away. But that didn't stop me from going there constantly. This being the age of dying record stores, I really wished that this place would be better. \r
Flat out, Music Matters' high prices would be justifiable if the people working there were nicer. Take your business to Sounds on St. Marks Place. The people there aren't any better, but at least the prices are.
