Hugely expensive. Two leaking faucets in the bathroom washbasins - Quoted more than $600! Two brand new faucets would be less than half of this price! My son-in-law fixed them with $10 worth of parts in 30 minutes! They also charge twice for the same labor. One outside faucet = $300+ Add a shutoff valve before the faucet and they add another $300 for labor. But they already had the pipes apart to install the faucet! Turns out they wanted to charge $1000 (yes - thousand) for labor to replace two faucets and install two valves. About $100 in parts and over a thousand dollars in labor. Unless you're made of money, avoid Mr. Rooter at all costs. more

We had Mr. Rooter come out in december to clean our main drain- I was in a hurry and called first company I saw- mr.Rooter BIG MISTAKE!!!!! Technician was friendly enough- sold me a bill-of-goods which was an extended service plan- said we got discounts on services and priority scheduling. had to call them again in April- ) they said they's be out at 5 pm on Friday (since we paid xtra for priority service) At 7:30 PM they called and said they'd have to come Saturday morning. I asked for 1st appt , they gave me 9:00 AM- At 10:30 AM I called to see when he would be here- they said after 8 AM appointment!? at 11:15 AM I cancelled- Reed's Sewer and drain completed work for less than Mr. Rooter w/ Discount- PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!!!!!! Mr. Rooter not only gives really bad service- they charge xtra for it........... Pros: none- it's a rip-off Cons: yes- they are con- artists more
