So after the storms in spring 2017, the roofing companies were out in force trying to get your business. My wife and I decided to pass and go with a more reputable company. After HKC failed to get back with us, we tried Mr Roof. Steve came out, wrote up the contract and got in contact with the insurance. A short time later the roof was complete, but we had downspouts, windows and minor details still in the wind. That was March/April ‘18. In June, a contractor came out to replace a front facia piece and replace/install the downspouts. It was a hot that day, and rather than come back and make the repairs on a not so hot day, the contractor drilled and screwed in the facia which is a snap in piece. He didn’t replace one of the damaged downspouts, and also left our gutter covers hanging off the roof where the new downspout was installed. We recieved a bill that was well over the contracted amount. When we called, the Mr Roof adjuster said to disregard the bill and they would contact our insurance for a supplemental payment due to a contract write error by Mr Roof. Oct of ‘18, we finally get a call from a supposed new manager named Josh, who was adamant about getting us taken care of, and we “should not have had to wait so long to have the job completed”. Evidently, the Louisville office is only interested in the roof money and droped all sense of customer service after they got the roof check. Finally got one of the windows replaced, 8 months later, still waiting on the second. Wife is on the phone now arguing about their overcharging us, when the original contract was going to be nothing out if pocket, all work completed within insurance estimates. Stay away from this office!
