Movie Scene

The selection is pitiful. When I asked for a Hitchcock movie, the clerk had never heard of him and after searching the computer informed me that they did not have a single one of his movies. I can rarely find a movie I want to see. When I do they are usually so scratched that they skip, stutter and stall when playing. I finally canceled my account after renting a defective blue ray DVD. It would play the ads at the beginning of the disc just fine but would not even load the movie. The clerk informed me that it was my DVD player's fault and that there was nothing wrong with the DVD, without even testing it. He refused to refund my money. He insisted that my player was too old (it is fairly new, but he didn't ask). Netflix and on-demand here I come.? more

My experience here is different, I guess. I've noticed that they do not have nearly enough titles in stock, the store is always very dirty, and it is not family friendly. a.k.a. x rated movies... just my thoughts more

This movie rental store is located in a small plaza near several other shops. Its convenience is only bested by its wide selection of DVD’s, games and VHS cassettes to rent. I frequent them on Tuesdays, because everything is 99 cents to rent, even new releases. Compared to national chains (blockbuster), this price is excellent. They almost always have the movie I want in stock and the staff is courteous and helpful. more
