Despite some obstacles, the PT staff and rehab aides at Mountain View facility are wonderful and committed to providing optimal therapy for injuries, post op care etc. What I was most surprised at was the lack of adequate/updated equipment for PT. They only had ONE ultrasound machine for patient care which the staff had to wait in a queue to use on their particular assigned patients. In my visits, I would say that 60% of the time, the Aide and I had to await the availability of the machine. There are also no stairs to use for practicing going up and down stairs ( I had a total knee replacement) and could have used stairs with railings as part of my regime. \r

The look/ambiance of the room is very dated, HMO care driven expense allocations. i also wanted to send private e-mail to my therapists and the staff do not have their own e-mail accounts. my recommendation is that this PT group update, provide adequate equipment and enhance communication with their own staff e-mail accounts. \r

The staff committemnt is the real attribute so, much can be overcome with such great staff!\r

The stationery bikes are a bit old and tired, tears in the upholstery etc. Overall, excellent care by therapists and aides, mediocre equipment. and updated communication with individual therapists.
Pros: Therapistsm receptionists
Cons: lack of adquate ultrasound machines, stair-steps with railings, e-mail with therapists versus the whole building! If you ask me, having no private e-mail is a HIPPA violation
