The Company is terrible at Customer service. The equipment is not quite reliable and designed without a thought about customer's convenience in mind.\r Examples:\r For several days the power outlet the control panel was connected to was out of order. After fixing the outlet, this stupid panel began alarming every several seconds to let me know this way that the battery is low. I called for tech support - they charge more than $300 for technician visit on weekends and provide no instructions on how to shut this alarm down. To allow my grandson to sleep, I had to tear the panel out of the wall to stop it alarming. \r Earlier we had to disable (turn it to useless position) one of the motion detectors because of multiple false alarms. So, one of the rooms became unprotected.\r Even earlier we had to have a technician to come to our house because the system was alarming due to lost cell connection. It was a lot of fun in the middle of the night. And what, interesting, we could do to restore this connection and to stop alarm working?\r A was going to cancel this service - OK, it appeared that I have to pay more than $700 to do it...\r \r Don't deal with these guys. As far as I understand they have never ever worked on home security - only on fire alarms, which is usually with corporate customers, and they just bought Rocky Mountain Alarm Company (with all their customers) this year. Nobody even informed customers on change of provider!\r They just don't know how to work appropriately with individual households.\r \r Addition of 10.17.2013\r Yesterday I got a call from VP of Mountain Alarm Company with apologies about the facts which I described above. \r I was offered to cancel the contract without cancellation fee or to continue using this Company’s service dealing directly with this official in case of any problems. He gave me both his office and cell phone numbers. He sounded very sincerely and I decided to stay with the Company and to see how everything will work out. \r more
