After waiting 5 minutes to get helped I left my car for a smog failure diagnosis to the tune of $100. What I got was a quick explanation that the car needs a lot of work which could be roughly $3000. I never said I had just been to a test only center and they told me it was minor. Also, I was greeted in a less than courteous manner and basically felt pre-judged at that time. When I picked my car up I was told it's $100 and I should retire the car. No explanation as to how they arrived at that conclusion or any tests or anything. Basically, it was I dont want to deal with your car, just get it out of here. The worst part was being told to retire the car. As that might be viable to some, I make almost double in yearly salary that is allowed to do such a thing which is why I brought up the pre-judged thing. Not only that, prior to my career in IT I spent 10 years as an automotive service writer so I am very familiar with the so called ""bum's rush"". It's what is done when a service writer or mechanic feels a person has no money or the means to fix a car so you quote them an astronomical price and send them on their way. I have the means and the money, but not for you people. Kiss where the sun dont shine and good luck staying in business long with that approach.
