Pricey burgers but it does have a burger bar like a sundae bar or something where you go put anything on it you want. Kobe beef burger is what I tried. It was okay, but not $20 good. Fries are a total miss. more

Mo's is my favorite Burbank restaurant. The burgers and big and tasty. I like the burger bar where you dress your own burger. My favorites are the Bacon Burger and the Blue Cheeseburger. The steaks are also good. It can be a little chilly inside but I always bring a sweater. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. I'm looking forward to going again soon. more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! 3/13/2010

Anytime I'm doing business in Burbank I make a point of always eating at Mo's because everything I've ever ordered there is delicious. Burgers are amazing, Salads are huge and fresh- it's a cool atmosphere and service is always great. Last night I went again with a friend and I couldn't decide what I wanted so between the 2 of us we ordered Fried Calamari, Grilled Artichoke, Goat Cheese and Pecan Salad, Chili Cheese Fries, & a Turkey Meatloaf Burger. We shared everything and of course we didn't finish everything but we wanted and tried to! Everything was fresh and delicious and the service was great. So great was the service that I was curious today to find out more about Mo's. Searching the internet, I found this site and was surprised by some of the comments. I'm not the type to leave comments but I must say that Mo's is one of my favorite restaurants in L.A. and definitely my favorite in the Toluca Lake / Burbank area. I find that the negative comments on here are very unfair and untrue to any experience that I've ever had. Oh, also the valet behind Mo's is convenient and friendly. So for whatever that's worth, that's my opinion of Mo's. Keep up the great work, I loved my experience! Pros: AWESOME FOOD & GREAT SERVICE Cons: It's in Toluca Lake / Burbank more

Great burgers & great service! 12/30/2009

I had a chance to have dinner at Mo's last night. I got a burger seeing as that is their specialty and my burger was great. Normally, when you get a bacon cheeseburger, the bacon is an afterthought and more or less just there for flavor. The bacon on my burger was crispy and thick-cut. IMPRESSIVE! The service was great as well. Service was great as was the food! Pros: Food was great as was the service. more

BAD SERVICE 4/11/2009

High prices for bad service. Food was ""ok"" Took forever to get seated, or acknowledged for that matter. Our server ""Aaron"" or ""Eric"" did not check up on us during our meal, nor even say a word besides taking our order; when he brought our check he just slapped it down on the table..., however, he did speak to what seemed like his regular customers. The bussers brought our ketchup, coffee, refilled our coffee and served us better! We won't be going back there... Cons: Go elsewhere instead! more

Ugh 1/30/2009

Went there late one night a couple month's. Got the special Kobe Beef Burger. The meat was off and I got sick. The burger bar is just ridiculous. The menu is way too huge for it to possibly be good. Would not be nearly as offended if they didn't tout themselves as ""Fine Food"" when that's the farthest thing it is. more

Great Value and Great Burger. 1/16/2009

Really good burgers, fast service and a ton of toppings. Fries were huge and really crispy, huge portions. Plus, they have toppings for free. more

Too expensive and the services is BAD! 4/28/2008

The burgers are good but pretty expensive. The services is pretty bad. If I am going to spend $40 for 2 people for lunch I much rather go somewhere where the food is better and the service is good. Cons: Price more

Great Burgers that worth the wait 3/26/2008

I hate burgers... well until I ate at Mo's. This place changed my perspective toward the great American fast food dish. The meat is juicy and they managed to put gourmet to something rather simple. The salad bar is packed with essentials that you want. The staff is so friendly. Was it only me that get treated nicely. I found that if you are nice to the people, you will be treated nicely back. :) more

If it wasn't so close, I wouldn't go. 3/13/2008

The burgers are good, but the ""burger bar"" consists of something like 3 condiments, and a not very good type of potato salad, which I tried once and will not have again. That's it. Nothing else. No frills, no extras. Nothing. The ""foot long"" sandwiches are two pieces of average bread open faced (thus the foot long?) with not much meat on them. The salads are very good, but very expensive. They do have Pacific Ridge on tap. It's a great beer and I can't find it anywhere else. Pros: Location Cons: cost more

Good Neighborhood Joint 3/5/2008

From the outside this place looks like a dingy bar and can seem intimidating. Once inside, however, it's obvious that people love Mo's. There is almost always a wait, although it's never that long. The menu has a lot of interesting items on it, but the burgers are the thing to get here (at least your first time). I don't even eat red meat, and I think it's great. Mo's offers a whole list pre-set burger combinations (which you can adjust as needed, of course) and patty options (beef, turkey, veggie). When your burger is ready it is taken to the burger bar. I do have to say the burger bar (with its basic condiments and a couple side salads) was a little disappointing, but you do get to customize when you place your order so I'm not sure how to make it better. Mo's has a great selection of non-burger items on the menu as well which are also consistently good. Pros: burgers, ambiance Cons: service can be slow more

Tasty entrees, nothing else special. 9/22/2007

The only reason people go to this dive and think they enjoy it is because it is trendy. The decor has an alright feel, reminiscent of a lodge, and the actual main courses are good, but everything else falls flat...well, except the prices. Who needs to pay $10.95 for a burger that doesn't come with any sides? Want french fries? That's a whopping $4.95 extra. Want extra cheese, onions, or other additives that they ""conveniently"" left out? That's an extra 50 cents per item on an already overpriced meal. Oh, I forgot, there is Mo's Famous Burger Bar. Essentially, you don't get your food brought to you; you have to get it yourself at a tiny island bar similar to the salsa bar at El Pollo Loco. And your being ""escorted"" there is just being told by a server (not the waiter/ess) where it is, leaving you to find it yourself. The bar itself is a travesty. Your options are the worst potato salad ever, some disgustingly sliced pickles, dry coleslaw (how do you mess up coleslaw?), sloppy tomatoes, unappetizing pasta salad, and risotto that no one would touch. If you're not getting a burger, you won't get much else for cheap. The cheapest pasta dish is $11.95, and none of them come with any meat in it. Two options allow chicken added for an extra $2 and shrimp for $4. Aren't we paying enough already? Apparently when it's trendy and you might see a celebrity, people will pay anything. The wait staff is alright, but they don't really do much other than give you drinks. I ordered an ice water (since a simple fountain soda is $2.50) and it was never refilled. Most people will order a burger or sandwich, which is left at the burger bar anyhow, so they don't need to serve you. Not a bad experience, but no place I would recommend. There are much better, cheaper, more celebrity-filled restaurants that actually serve you good food at a decent price and don't try to stiff you at every corner. Pros: Tasty main course Cons: Overpriced, nothing special, not enough for your money more
