Dr. Craig Howenstine is a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Certified Wellness Practitioner. Dr. Howenstine received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Howenstine has a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University. After graduating he spent five years in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. As an avid fly fisherman and outdoorsman, he developed his love for all things natural and began to search for a new career that would allow him to help people overcome challenges, naturally. In addition, at this time, his mother was battling cancer and sought respite from the side effects of chemotherapy from a Chiropractor. Her overall pain relief was remarkable and all inspiring. With this in mind, he set forth to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Howenstine has studied numerous safe and effective chiropractic adjusting and treatment techniques including: Diversified, Activator, Flexion Distraction, Gonstead, Graston, Miofascial Release and ProAdjuster. These techniques allow him to serve people of all ages with a variety of conditions. Dr. Howenstine expresses his passion for health and wellness daily and is committed to providing patients with the most effective means of natural health care. As a volunteer for the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, Dr. Hownestine develops corporate and community wellness programs to either start a wellness initiative or supplement an existing program designed to inspire participants to take action. He speaks regularly to corporations and organizations on the importance of a wellness lifestyle, which includes a balanced nervous system, proper diet and exercise, and a healthy mental attitude. Dr. Howenstine's mission is to educate and empower as many people as possible to experience their optimal health potential. Dr. Hownestine lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and spends most of his free time with his darling family and friends. He also enjoys cooking, golfing, fishing and life.
