Food is usually a hit, but the staff can be a little too 'familiar' assuming that you care if they've had a bad day, life, etc...

Best brunch in Philly 4/16/2006

Morning Glory often has a wait and there is a reason -- it's worth it! The menu offers a lot for vegetarians so it's got some regulars. The seating can be tight and in nicer weather you can dine outside. The are awesome and so are the biscuits. I've never been disappointed. The portions are big so don't try to eat before or after a visit here. The value of the meal is tremendous and I would be willing to pay more. If you are trying to drive here, forget it. Park somewhere and walk. more

rumored hot brunch not for vegans 8/21/2005

This place has a reputation as having a good brunch. This may be true for many, but their solitary vegan dish is disgusting. It is a tofu scramble made with curry and a cup of oil. It is way too much for first thing on a hung-over weekend morning. I'm guessing based on their other reviews their non vegan items are quite delicious, but this dish has made me throw up both times I've had it. Granted I was hung over both times, but a curry surprise is no substitute for a breakfast dish. more

Need to fill that hearty morning appetite 8/9/2005

Go to Morning Glory! It will certainly fill your tummy with some amazing breakfast food! You will probably need to skip lunch after having breakfast here....unless you have a very fast metabolism. The portions are pretty big....or was that just because I had to try more than a few things on the menu? They make really amazing pancakes with fresh fruits of various kinds, frittatas are made with pretty much all the good stuff if you want something savory, or your can order sides of turkey bacon or sausage. There is usually a wait on the weekends.....so go early! more
