Dishonesty w/Beamer 8/9/2011

I bought a 2005 CPO BMW X5 in 2009 which ended up having quite a few issues to say the least. I realize it was used, but there are certain expectations when purchasing a $30,000 vehicle. Within the 30 day "we'll fix it program" my brakes were squealing. I take it back and they swear everything was fine. One month later my brakes were grinding (brake pads are supposed to be changed with the CPO warranty), so it goes back!!!! FINALLY, they realize it, but expect us to pay! After a half hour argument with the sales manager they finally acknowledge they are at fault. Months go by until the interior passenger side door goes out. It can not be opened from the outside. After 3 months of wondering how the door was not part of the CPO warranty it too finally got fixed. Many more issues arise, but what really gets me is the dishonesty within the dealership. I tried to trade my BMW into BMW of Dallas when they informed me of an "unclean" carfax report! Motitz of BMW sold me a vehicle that had previous damage done to it in Jan of 2008. I am stuck with a major lemon due to the dishonesty of this dealership! DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY!!!!!!!!! more

No Service after you purchase a car!! 5/11/2011

Right after my fiance bought her car, the salesman that sold it to her quit that same afternoon. Then she had a hard time ever getting in contact with anyone over there. When she did get in contact with someone, they were rude and acted like she was wasting their time. It seemed like once she signed the paperwork, they were done with her. No post-purchase customer service at all. She also had to call 3 times to get them to send in her registration in time. I would not go there unless you never plan to need anything from them after the purchase is over. Other than that, they are very nice while they are trying to get you to buy a car. more

Service Top Notch, Relationships are the key 4/15/2011

When I arrived for service on my 550i, there was no shortage of people on hand to help me and answer my questions and we all got along becuase I went with the flow of their business. Not sure why so many people use the internet as a forum for venting their emotions, but Moritz as a business is as solid as I have come across. Straightforward, honest individuals with simple goals go a long way in my book, and Moritz is filled with servant minded people. Do yourself a favor and skip the other dealers in the DFW area. No bad things to say after two visits, so I must be in good hands, more

Read the Service Reviews: They're ALL Negative! 12/13/2010

Without the bogus 5 star reviews this dealership has a very solid rating of one star. What drags them down is their service department, which is where dealerships really make their money. Don?t take my word for it, read the reviews. Everyone knows if you?re buying a new car, build it online with Edmunds then shoot for dealer invoice as your starting point, you can often get invoice MINUS rebates and incentives. If they don?t give it to you at that rate go to Google Maps, enter your brand and call all the other dealers in your area, keep expanding your area until you find the price you want. Where ever you buy your next vehicle, don?t take it here for servicing or repair, read the other service reviews, don?t take my word for it, then again, if you can?t have it worked on at their dealership why would you want to buy it there. more

Best BMW Dealer Dallas has to offer! 4/22/2010

Jim Kappler, service manager goes out of his way to make you satisfied. They stopped their free car wash service so Jim went so far as to wash my car himself, unbelievable! Now that's something I bet you won't find in any other BMW Dealer Dallas has to offer. I also found them very easy to provide a service loaner during the service down time. No hassles. There isn't another BMW dealer dallas can even compare to! Moritz BMW of arlington is number 1 in my book. Pros: Great Service and competitive prices Cons: too many choices more
