Richard checked out our Whirlpool fridge ice maker. Based on all the testing I had done and parts I replaced, he agreed that it must be the optics boards. He stated that he had no more of these parts on his truck and would need to go get them. I provided him $100 for the parts (knowing that I could get them online for less an install them myself in about 2 minutes) but thought I'd pay him his mark-up and labor to confirm I'd found a reliable appliance repair person. BIG MISTAKE!!! I expected him back that day, but after tracking him down a week later, he says the part has almost doubled in price. I told him to forget it and he agreed he owed me money back but has totally ignored it for months now. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING HIM FOR YOUR APPLIANCE REPAIRS.
