Moon Under Water is a local restaurant that attracts a bunch of tourists or visitors but is also frequented by a number of locals. It has wonderful fish & chips (though the chips could be more chip like and less french fry like) and curries. The portions are large and the atmosphere is very nice. They have Guinness on draft in addition to a number of other good choices. The staff are fairly attendant. There is a lovely outdoor dining area with a dozen tables at least. Prices are reasonable. Some sites list it as $20-30 per person, but that would seem to include a drink and appetizer as well as a main dish. more

Great Food, Slow Service 12/9/2005

Moon Under Water has a great selection of on-tap beers, live music some nights and a delicious selection of food - from curry to grilled chicken. It has great ambience, and a view of the bay if you're on the porch or outside. The only downfall is that, each time I've been here, the service has been quite slow. If you're not in a hurry, give them a try. more
