For over 30 years, The Montessori Children's House of Peoria has been providing primary and elementary school programs for children ages 3-12 . We provide the highest quality education available, in an environment where students learn at their own pace, and innovation, creativity, and a passion for excellence are taught and upheld every day.
Our programs are divided into separate categories, based on age.
The primary program for children ages 3 to 6 focuses on laying the groundwork of a successful education. Here children work independently in unstructured work periods to develop critical foundations of concentration and independence, alongside fine motor control and social development.
The elementary program continues the Montessori philosophy for students in grades 1 through 6. Collaboration, innovation and passion are central to helping the student as they discover their place within the universe, as well as their community.
We enrich the minds of our students in a variety of subjects, including:
With an impressive variety of extracurricular activities, including private instrument lessons, gymnastics, video club, chess club and drama club, students have everything they need to identify and pursue both their passions and their hobbies.
Before and after school care are available, in addition to our summer camp, which will keep your child active and engaged when school isn't in session.
Montessori students grow up to be independent, assured, and accomplished citizens of the world. The proof is in three decades of successful students.
