This place is the worst. Very unprofessional. I waited 3 hours to see the dentist... it turns out it was a consultation. But I had already had a consultation. Plus they said I would have to pay in full for a root canal because my insurance did not cover this. They are incompetent. don't go there. more

They have owed me 386 dollars for months, been really hard to get it back. They keep saying its processing.....for months!!!!!!!!!! I want my money back, the root canal they done was horrible and has failed anyways so i suggest you choose a different dentist!!! more

RUN...that's the only advice I can give. This place is the worst. I went to Monarch in 2010 to get a root canal, Monarch was pretty much the only dentist available through my insurance provider. Needless to say, it was the root canal from hell! I got a really bad infection, and my crown kept falling off and needed to be reattached about 2 times. Aside from that, I was charged $700 up front before I could begin my service, which I did. A year later, I check my credit report to find that Monarch sent me to collections siting that I have an additional $289 that was unpaid, and there was NO attempt to even contact me about this so called ""unpaid balance""!!! I contacted the office and was told by a very rude woman that the balance MUST be paid BEFORE I received anymore services from Monarch, which I decided to do since I had a broken tooth that was in dire need of repair. I get to the office and tell the person at the front (a different woman btw) that I was told I needed to pay my balance off, she told me to sign in and take a seat. I was seen right away by the dentist for my broken tooth (who happened to be very nice!) and was told that he would send one of the assistants from the front to give me a cost breakdown. Next thing I know the rude woman from the my previous phone conversation comes stomping down the hall and starts yelling at me saying she told me over the phone that I had to pay before being seen and that I knew that cause she made it clear to me over the phone, she was literally going off on me and yelling from down the hall as she was walking towards me! It was so rude and unbelievably unprofessional, especially since each individual ""room"" was just curtains hanging from the wall. There were other patients who even stuck there heads out from behind their curtains to see what all the fuss was about. I was beyond furious, I even explained myself and went ahead and paid the balance, and just left, I decided that I would not get any further services from this place. Needless to say, I went to a different dentist that was not a chain business and received much better service. And now in 2012, a year after paying this ""unpaid balance"", I received a letter from Monarch stating that I have $289 available in my account and since the account hasn't been used, they went ahead and closed it, and wanted me to reply if I wanted them to send me a check of the remaining balance!!! So this place screwed up and sent me to collections, and my credit score took a hit for a balance that obviously wasn't needed to begin with. Seriously, save yourself the trouble. more

I love the Lake Worth Office. Dr. Ballard and his staff are amazing. I suffer from major Dental anxiety and they always make me calm and relaxed, never judging me. Megan and Caesar have also been great assets to me when going in. I have recommend this clinic to everyone I know. more

If you have a choice, don't choose Monarch in Lake Worth 1/22/2010

This morning I had a cleaning scheduled at the Monarch Dental office in Lake Worth. I should point out that this appointment was a rescheduled appointment from last Friday because someone from Monarch called me last Thursday to ask if I could reschedule my appointment because the hygienist had a doctor's appointment. I am not completely without compassion, so I assumed that it must be a pretty important appointment if the hygienist has to miss work because of it. Fine. I rescheduled. I showed up today at 10:02 for my 10:00 appointment. Yes, I was 2 minutes late...my fault. However, I then sat there for an entire hour, waiting for my name to be called. Because I have a life, I decided I would ask to reschedule my appointment AGAIN because I just couldn't wait any longer. So, I went up to the front desk and asked very calmly (although I was fuming inside) to reschedule because I had been waiting for an hour and couldn't wait any longer. At that point I was told that I had been "overlooked", even though I had signed in. I asked if there was something special I needed to do next time I came in to make them aware of my presence (maybe cluck like a chicken or throw paper airplanes at the receptionist?) . She said "no" and, to her credit, apologized for the mix-up. The person who was obviously her supervisor, however, had nothing to say about the mix-up and seemed perfectly fine with my walking out and never coming back. One may ask why I would wait so long before deciding to say something. Well, a very long wait is typical in this office and I have had to endure it MANY times, including with small children (which is enough to drive anyone crazy!) You may also ask why I haven't switched dentists. In answer to that, our insurance is fairly sub-standard and limits us to very few providers. I will, however, do my best to find a way to never have to go back there again! Pros: Hygienist is friendly and competent Cons: Ineffective "check-in" method, long waits, impersonal servic more
