They will totally rip you off. I went in for a regular cleaning, which I had been doing for the last 5 years at another dentist, but I had signed up for dental insurance. They presented me with a treatment plan for $6485 (my share $2835) $2200 for a deep cleaning. I had a deep cleaning about 6 years ago, it cost $480. Then they wanted to put on 2 crowns, for 1 tooth that was slightly fractured ( a molar - last tooth in my mouth)\r I was appalled. I went back to my regular dentist. HE SAID I DID NOT NEED A DEEP CLEANING AT ALL. He charged me $ 81 for a regular cleaning.\r Re; the slightly fractured tooth he said it had been coming on for years, I could probably go the rest of my life without doing anything to it, and I should just be aware of it and avoid chewing ice or other heavy things on it. \r Monarch dental wanted $6,485. - totally unnecessary services. Two years after Dr Davis installed upper and lower partials, I had an emergency situation (one of my lower-front real teeth came out, leaving an unsightly gap...and I am a singer/entertainer by profession).\r Dr Andrew Davis got me scheduled in immediately, and he fixed it for me. He came up with a great tratment plan. He extracted 2 additional front teeth, and had new porcelain replacements augmented onto the already existing lower partial. The end result is that everything NOW looks even better. Dr Davis did his best to keep me from having to cancel any performance engagements. \r Dr Davis is an excellent dentist, and a class act all the way. Highly recommended!! more

This Monarch dental location is one of the best! The doctors and hygienists gave me a very thorough examination, including x-rays and periodontal probing.The doctor sat with me after the examination as long as I needed to explain the treatment recommended. I have not seen a dentist in several years, and I needed more than a standard polish cleaning. At first I was resistant, but they not only told me to seek a second opinion, they gave me several places online to do some research into gum disease. \r \r Turns out that my dentist years ago who did not do probings was actually doing me a misservice. I was also surprised to find that over 80% of people have some form of gum disease, and are not even aware of it. After doing my due diligence, I went back to the office for a second consultation at no charge. First of all, with my assistance, they obtained a new credit card for me to pay the 2800.00, which they hit for the full amount before they did a thing. Which means I was paying interest on work that was done before it was even done....took several months to finish. I had a new upper denture, a new lower partial, and 2 teeth pulled. The dentures looked okay but have never fit. The partical I have to pull out to eat. So, they want to charged around 400.00 to reline them. Why not make to fit in the 1st place, if it can be done! So then they want to charge me for tempory lining because I can't afford the permanent lining. And 2 of the teeth fell out of my upper denture the first 6 months...not happy! more

I broke a tooth at dinner friday night and my dentist was closed already and wouldn't see me until monday. I called this location and they were able to see me saturday and fixed my problem. The dentist ( Dr Andrew Davis ) and staff were all super! more

I had a toothache and called at 4 pm on a friday. To my great surprise, they were not only willing to see me on such short notice but they did my treatment the same day. The doctor stayed until 6 pm, which is a hour past closing, and was very gracious about doing so.\r I will definetely be a return customer! more

I couldn't disagree more. I found the office to be clean, professional and very,very friendly. I was not diagnosed for alot of treatment, and I hadn't seen a dentist in years. I was shocked, but in a very pleasant way!\r \r Highly recommend more

Went because Monarch is covered by my dental health plan, and I had minor pain in a bicuspid. The 'dentist' reports I have cavities in quite possibly all my molars. I return for fillings, and the guy drills the center of each and every molar for several hours. I now have the thin walls of my original teeth filled with deeply convex pits of smooth enamel that are temperature and texture sensitive in ways I've never experienced before. The middle aged lady accountant there is incredibly arrogant and does not care whether or not the patient understands what treatment is needed and how much it costs, shows you estimate that always ends up balancing more than $100. Billing is always Wrong. If you do not want to deal with their unprofessional services, Don't go to any of the Monarch Dental. You'll rarely find any single good remarks about the place. I felt very taken care in this office. The exam was thorough and complete. Any problems with my teeth were explained. The dentist and hygienist were very happy to answer any of my questions. Even though the cost of a my cleaning was more than I had expected it to be, I understood the reasons why. The differences between a regular cleaning and deep cleaner were made clear to me. They would NOT allow me to just get my damn teeth cleaned! they added all this extra stuff in that I couldn't afford. Then they put me on a "treatment plan" which would have cost me well over 2000$ dollars! All I needed was a cleaning! I felt like I was being scammed as soon as I got in the dentist chair. slimeballs. They take you in this "consultation room" and tell you all this BS stuff you "need" to get done right away. Better yet, get another dentist! Total scam artists. You will not get a checkup and cleaning, no matter how many times you ask for it...you will get told your teeth are falling apart and need 100s of dollars' worth of work. And btw, I get biannual dental cleanings and know I have GREAT teeth...just happened to be new in town and ended up where my dental HMO sent me. These doctors are not there to serve you. They're there to eat as much money out of you as they can! Do not go if you want decent care! For one consultation, (I paid my co pay required) and I found out that they took a minimum of $900 from my insurance company and aren't satisfied and are trying to bill me for more. I went and got a second consultation from another doctor, and they charged me 1/4 of what was charged here. This is ridiculous! Cons: don't go more

These people are the most money hungry car sales man like doctors. Their doctor Cox spent 5 minutes checking my teeth. Then their hygenist Mary measures my gum loss and told me that I needed a deeper cleaning and it was because i am not brushing enough! She was herself was a nasty person. She smelled like cigaret and dogs urine. it was disgusting. Hey i have 2 dogs myself and a foster dog now. i don't let myself go like that. Besides their hygenist Mary smelled like alkohol vodcka. i just couldn't believe that they have those people to work fro them. the doctor had this white coate on with bloodstain real disgusting. i would never go back there. never... more

I made it through two appointments with them before I quit. My exam went well but when I came for folowup with the hygienist they scheduled me half an hour earlier for nothing. They simply didn't read my chart to see that I had already had an exam. When it came time for my ortho consult, I waited an HOUR before finally giving up due to the fact that I was hungry and I was missing work to enjoy the "comfort" of their waiting room. They tried to give me excuses but it was pointless. Save yourself the time, patience and brain cells and find a private dentist instead of a chain. more
