This hole in the wall Japanese restaurant is located in the Kaimuki restaurant district, just off of 12th avenue. Tempura is good, as well as the teriyaki chicken, sashimi and butterfish. My favorite, when they have it, is their ala carte portion of freshly deep fried oysters. These are not the big fat gushy ones, but rather the smaller oysters that are light and refreshingly crispy. Order them with an order of California maki and you will be in heaven.
