This restaurant is an excellent find in the East Village area. Yes, there are tons of ramen and noodle places in the area, but none as unique as M...

The chef's sister is actually one of my friends, and having lived two blocks away, I decided to finally try this place. Obviously there's been a lot of hype, so I was excited. W...

Ramen Fusion Style 9/15/2008

Very tastey pork soup base and noodles were made just right. Not too fatty, but packed full of flavour. The pork chunk was not as tender as I would have liked it to be. I just came back from a trip to Japan and have to say that it's not the traditional Japanese style ramen. It's more of a fusion style ramen noodle bar. The deco is very simple but still gives a feel for contemporary. The price of a bowl of momofuku ramen was $16 - pricey but I guess for NYC, that's not bad. more

I've seen better. 7/27/2006

I've heard about this place from many ppl but was disappointed when I finally tried it. Their food is o.k., the noodle doesn't have much flavor and they don't seem to get the authentic taste of each dish. The interior is interesting although the chairs aren't so comfortable. It feels like a fast food noodle chain but the price isn't so cheap. more

Noddle Paradise! 1/14/2006

For some great noodles at a pretty great price, its all about Momofuku. The atmosphere is casual and the place is always packed, no doubt due to some fantastic word of mouth. After all, there are few better places to get noodles in NYC. Personally, I think the Momofuku ramen and the BBQ pork buns are to die for. Wash it all down with some sake and you'll have a dinner experience that'll leave you more than satisfied. more
