Moe's is...well, Moe's. Yeah, the service sucks. Yeah, it gets mightily crowded. Yeah, it's so slick that you run a danger of slipping and hitting your head. But, well, I mean, what would you rather? It's a scene bar, and it acts like a scene bar. If you're looking for cozy, warm, friendly, cheap, un-pretentious, quiet, spacious, comfortable, don't even think about it. But that means you're just looking for a different kind of place.
For the kind of place that Moe's is trying to be (which, granted, is kinda obnoxious), it's fine; maybe even slightly above average.
