I went in for a haircut and the hairdresser did not seem very confident and took a long time to cut my hair. She didn't straighten it like I usually do, so I couldn't tell until later, but the left side of my head was at least an inch shorter than the right side. Also, it was very choppy, not blended well, and I had this weird tail thing in the back. In the front, I had several stray pieces of hair that I had to cut myself since I was going to a party that night.
When I returned, the hairdresser did a great job trying to fix it, but now I am left with hair just below my ears, and I would never choose to wear my hair this short. I asked for a free haircut since I was out $8 for my second tip and I felt that would be good customer service. I felt the second hairdresser may be someone I would return to and I considered taking my daughter to her if they wanted to offer a free cut. They refused.
Now, I have called the corporate office to request a refund of the money I paid for my original haircut. I feel a free haircut was a reasonable request and could have been easily accomodated. They could have gain myself and two teen daughters as future customers and I could have spread a good word about them. All they offered me was a trim in six weeks.
The corporate number is 919-851-0962 and the person to speak with is Carlotn at extension 12. I am posting this information because Hope, the manager didn't want to give it to me and I feel that other people will be in this same situation.
