I have visited my husband in this county jail two times. So far I haven't incurred any real problems. When I have visited my husband he has looked well due to the circumstances. They have even been courteous enough to consider the level of noise while visiting a loved one to limit 3-4 visitors each time. I think this does lead to longer wait times for the families to visit their loved ones but it is well worth the extra wait to actually be able and hear what your loved one has to say during the visit. Some inmates wear pink and I don't think it matters to the inmates, it even looks good on some of the guys. I haven't heard any horror stories from my husband while he has been in the county which gives me peace. He could just be doing just that though, giving me peace. Jail is no place anyone wants to have their loved one but if there is no other alternative I like the circumstances my own husband is handed in Luxora verses being in a place like Pulaski county. Visiting that place on my own at one time, things in the Mississippi County Detention Facility so far seem okay.
Pros: Hunter Roundsville and thoughtfulness of visitation between family and inmates
Cons: inmates not allowed to visit their children under 18 years
