Good service, nice people 8/20/2011

We rented a pontoon boat from Mimosa a week ago. I was troubled by the reviews, but decided to go ahead anyway. The boat was not fancy, but worked perfectly. We were treated with courtesy and the price was reasonable. We'll rent from Mimosa again, for sure. By the way, the marina is on Powerhouse Rd. (not Firehouse Rd.). more

I just called Mimosa Boat Landing to find out about boat rentals. I spoke to a woman who was extremely rude, calling me, ""you people"" as she went on to say ""I'm flabbergasted by people who call up with these questions..."" I could not believe the response I was getting just to get info on boat rentals After I hung up with her, I looked at the reviews on this place, and oh how true it is... They are rude. How do they stay in business? So long Mimosa! more

Don't waste your time and money at Mimosa Boat Landing at Lake James, NC 7/14/2007

This place is the biggest rip-off arround, over-priced boat rentals on crappy broken down junks, overbook availability, nasty attitude by manager, if you want to enjoy a nice day on Lake James, stay away from Mimosa Boat Landing. Go to Mountain Harbor. more
