I would like people to seriously consider the possible source (Miller's Grocery owners and employees) and validity of any overly, gushingly praise for this restaurant. You may disagree with my assessment, but I assure you it's real and accurate. Go ahead and try it, but remember a real, non-affiliated customer warned you that it is truly not worth your time or money. I felt sick from the food and ripped off when I left there.
I advise you to pass on this place. I went on a Saturday night, and the intense overcrowding, poor A/C, concert level, painfully loud live bluegrass music combined with really bad food (tastes just like shipped in, frozen, prepped food) all come together for an overall horrible experience. If you care to give it a try anyway, be sure to bring $45-$60 in cash for a party of two. They don't accept credit or debit cards. It appears popular, but I can't come up with any reason why other than the nastalgia of the old grocery store and it's many antiques, unless most are first-timers as I was on Labor Day weekend 2011. I'm at a total loss in being able to ever recommend Miller's Grocery Country Cafe based on my one dinner there. I'll never go back, nor will anyone in my party.
