No credit cards said a sign on the door, that should have made us leave. However, we were meeting several others and went in. No one was there to greet us or seat us, we found our party. The Darrel's building was once unique and full of atmosphere. Tonight I felt as if I were eating in a haunted building with no lights on the upper floor the ambiance was quite spooky. The salads came and the waitress put the dressing up to her nose to distinguish between ranch and blue cheese. No one at our table liked their food. The waitress never asked if everything was okay. Maybe that 's a good thing, she may have quit! When you can't even eat the french fries, the food is bad. I paid 14.00 for broccoli because I couldn't eat the seafood or rice that came with it. I am 47 years old and have never had such a horrible experience. I thought we were on Candid Camera or being Punked!
