Having classes to encourage you in your path to fitness perfection is awesome! I love that they offer free yoga with my membership!

I have been a member of Meikos canyon park bothell for awhile now, mostly due to the proximity to my home. It is a nice facility, however the manager has displayed offensive and ...

Nothing but Billing problems 6/26/2010

I was a member for over 5 years. When it came time to discontinue my membership it was nothing but problems. Even with notifying them via mail, fax and telephone they refused to discontinue my membership. (I was on a month to month contract). After 4 letters, 9 phone calls and one in-person visit they still were charging my bank account and threatening to send me for collections. 6 months later I am still battling this. I am now dealing with the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General's office. I also had to have my bank block their access to my bank account. more

Great Value and Location 9/27/2005

There are dozens of gyms around Seattle that offer fancier settings and more bells and whistles, but as a basic place to work out, Mieko's Fitness is great. They have plenty of machines, unless you want to work out during one of the really peak times of day. There are tv screens to keep you entertained while you sweat. Most importantly, the Magnolia location is so easy to get to from anywhere in Magnolia that you really will have no excuse for not making the two minute trip to get your exercise! more

terrible -- they double-charged me you and refused to return my calls about it for months 8/31/2005

Stay far away -- they will rip you off. This is very poorly run company with terrible customer service. I switched credit cards and they double-charged me for two months on two different credit cards, and for months have refused to return my phone calls trying to straigthen it out. It is late August and I am still trying to resolve an issue that happened in May and June. I don't know what the problem is -- maybe they grew too fast, maybe they get a lot of complaints and typically just don't respond. more

Small, But Good 8/19/2005

Mieko's is a nice little neighborhood fitness center where you can run on treadmills, lift weights or use nautilus, or take an aerobics class. the staff is generally very friendly and does an excellent job of keeping the facility clean. The one problem is the very tiny locker room. It gets crowded very easily and there are some patrons who like to spend an excessive amount of time in there and make it cramped for everyone else. There could also be a better ventilation system in the locker room, because sometimes the cologne that some patrons use linger for long periods of time. But, other than that, it's great. One nice feature is that the treadmills have their own flat screen televisions. That can help ease the pain of running! more
