Let me start this off by saying I currently am a manager for a restaurant in the Baltimore area so I can understand that things do occur during a day that could happen to almost anyone but my experience with Midori AND with the customer service from was quite....BAD. First it took my order practically an hour and forty five minutes to get to me when I was quoted an hour. I even had to contact the customer support on here which in and of itself was another issue! THe "live chat" seemed more like an automated message or robot than an actual live human being claiming they managed to call the store and get through and get an update in under 15 seconds when I was personally calling and was on hold for 5 minutes...After all was said and done and the driver FINALLY got here she calls me from an out of area number and gets ignorant with me and demanded more or less that I go outside and walk to her car as she didnt want to walk to my door while I was barefoot might I add. And might I also add that this was no where near peak hours so there really is no reason. Or they could of at least called. Anyway, now to the actual food. The spicy lobster roll was actually pretty decent but thats pretty much it. The smoked salmon roll was absolutely repulsive. I like raw sushi and this was just disgusting. It pretty much tasted like someone took some canned shredded tuna and rolled it into a sushi roll and gave you wasabi and soy sauce to mask the horrible flavor. Not to mention all the rolls were completely skimpy considering the amount of money paid not just the actual seafood but the rice too. The Baltimore roll was tinier than the other rolls and was overseasoned with old bay and just forced me to down my plain almost flavorless miso soup. THe Spicy Tuna ROll was just as disgustingly fishy. Now to what was actually just my portion of the meal rather than what I shared with my roomate the Nabiyaki Udon. At first glance it looked like it was going to be great! But the moment I sank my teeth into a barely cooked egg, overcooked soggy udon noodles and tasted the flavorless broth I realized that this order was a complete flop besides the spicy lobster roll and even that was luke warm. The entire order was lukewarm even the soups. Im honestly surprised I didnt get sick and will definitely never order and almost wish I could go back in time to warn myself not to utterly waste 44.80 while giving someone who was completely ignorant to begin with a 5 dollar tip. Well here's a tip. Never order from them unless you enjoy being sorely disappointed. Take the time to go to a real sushi bar you'll thank me for it.
