Meridian Engineering was founded by Darryl Fenn, Steve Johnson and Randall Vickers, when each of these individuals saw an opportunity to combine their technical abilities to create a successful business partnership. Since that time, Meridian has grown to its present size by providing our clients with professional services that exceed their requirements and expectations.
Meridian Engineering is a full-service engineering, surveying, planning and construction management firm headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. Meridian opened its doors in 1997 to offer professional consulting services to companies through the intermountain region. Meridian employs a diversified team of professionals with extensive technical experience and expertise in transportation, municipal engineering, utility design, land planning, site development, surveying, right of way design, geographic information, and construction management projects.
Our staff is organized by areas of expertise and by project teams which are structured as needed to undertake specific projects. Each team has a Project Manager, and as many other individuals as are required to get the job done.
All projects performed by Meridian are managed by individuals who have the expertise and experience to be successful. Our employees are encouraged to learn their duties and accept new opportunities when they arise.
Meridians project organization is classified as a production team union. All projects are under the direction of a Project Manager who has total responsibility to the production team and the client for the successful organization, development, design and construction of the project.
