I have a family member that has suffered way too much for his workers comp case. \r
He has already changed two attorneys because they wouldn't communicate with him, \r
he almost gave up the case entirely, until Mehr Law Firm was suggested to him. \r
He did all the paperwork and hired Emily Mehr to handle his case. He has an \r
obvious medical condition and has kept all of his paperwork clean and organized \r
for when he needs it. Unfortunately the idea that all lawyers are liars came \r
true three times for this guy. I feel so bad when I see him so frustrated \r
everyday, trying to look for answers. Emily Mehr is a nice person, but a \r
terrible attorney. She assigns case managers to every case and changes that case \r
manager what seems to be every week. The new case manager knows absolutely \r
nothing about the case, you never know who you are talking to when you call \r
their office, but no one seems to have an answer for you. Her so-called staff \r
barely works and ignores clients. They don't give you an appointment to talk to \r
Emily in person. She is never in the office to answer her emails or phone calls. \r
Every month she might drop you a line and promise she will call you at 4:00, but \r
that phone call never comes. Attorneys like this should be reported and have \r
their license revoked. She is absolutely careless, never gives you updates on \r
your case, never will answer your questions and never seems to be in her office. \r
When you meet her in person, she seems like the nicest, most genuine person in \r
the world, she will promise you she is not like the others, she'll say she will \r
make sure to communicate with you and update you about the case, but in reality \r
she never does. This guy has emailed and called her office a million times and \r
always left with frustration. His doctors are the ones currently helping him \r
with making appointments and following up with the case. He says his doctors are \r
better attorneys than Emily Mehr. My friend/family member received a letter with \r
a court date on it, he had no idea what it was, so when he called their office \r
for explanation they said that the case manager assigned to his no longer works \r
there. The interesting part is that the same case manager called him the next \r
day and said she never left the office!! She still didn't know what the court \r
date was for and promised she will ask Emily when she gets back. Now it seems \r
like Emily will never get back because she never called to say what the court \r
date is about and if her client even has to be there. Leaving people in pure \r
confusion is one of Emily Mehr's great talents. This firm consists of only one \r
attorney. Calling the senator and getting answers is for sure an easier task \r
than finding this attorney. Whoever gives these people a JD and allows them to \r
practice law should be ashamed of the existence of people like Emily Mehr. What \r
happened to people who practiced law in order to help people not to mess with \r
their lives? The pressure Emily Mehr has put on my cousin is so much worst than \r
his workers comp case. I wouldn't waste so much time writing this review if I \r
didn't want to inform people about how terrible this firm really is. If you \r
don't want to be played with, stay away from this firm.
