I was walking around park slope with friends on Sunday Afternoon and we found this lovely place called Mediterra. As we sat down, Hilda the hostress asked if we would like a cup of Turkish tea as she had just brewed some, so we had the tea. We started with the Taboule salad which was crisp, light and lemony, followed with the phyllo rolls filled with feta cheese and herbs. Yummy. The red lentil soup was perfect. The Mousaka casserole was flavorful and not heavy. Now for dessert, if you love rice pudding then this is a must. If sweet and nutty is your style then the baklava is more to you liking. Hilda is warm and friendly and check out the pillows, curtains and table cloths- Yes, you guessed it they are all home made. I know I'll be going back again.
Pros: good food, warm, friendly, very clean.
Cons: can't think of any
